Certified Management Accountants (CMA)

The CMA is the flagship program of the ICMA. On completion, participants will have developed advanced skills of analysis, evaluation and synthesis in the areas of strategic cost and management accounting and business analysis; and, in the process, obtained an in-depth awareness of the current developments in the profession.


The programme can only be taken by a Graduate or Associate member of the Institute; or a student member who has met the pre-requisite entry requirements of the program. 

Certified Business Valuation (CBV)

The Certified Business Valuer (CBV) certification is ideal for those who wish to have a transaction advisory or management accounting role, which focuses on the financial health of companies. The business valuation consultant helps clients with formal valuation for compliance and/or regulator purposes and has significant project management abilities Business valuation professionals assist individuals and corporations with calculating the net worth of their businesses, and supplying clients with financial data that helps them make well-informed business decisions.

Certified International Business Analysis (CIBA)

The Certified International Business Analyst (CIBA) certification is ideal for those who desire to be an agent of change in an multinational corporation. An international business analyst will identify and define the solutions in a global context that will maximize the value delivered by an organization to its stakeholders.

Certified Analysis Project Finance (CAPF)

The Certified Analyst in Project Finance (CAPF) certification is ideal for those CMAs who desire to apply the knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques learnt in the CMA program to project financing and investment appraisal activities. Essentially, Project finance is the financing of long-term infrastructure, industrial projects and public services using a non-recourse or limited recourse financial structure.

Certified Analysis Project Management (CAPM)

The Certified Analyst in Project Management (CAPM) certification is ideal for those CMAs who desire to apply the knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques learnt in the CMA program to project activities and to meet the project requirements.

Certified Enterprise Risk Analysis (CERA)

The Certified Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA) certification is ideal for those who wish to examine the way in which business and society make an assessment of, control and transferrisk. The goal of this course is to engage students in active discovery of risk management principles.

Certified Digital Marketing Specialist (CDMS)

The Certified Digital Marketing Specialist (CDMS) certification is ideal for those who wish to: (1) develop easy-to-use, clear, concise, comprehensible content; (2) research web copy; (3) create sites that are optimized for search engines; (4) develop relationships with websites to obtain quality links; (5) improve search-engine rankings; (5) send out quality messages on these channels; (6) create digital ads; (7) establish an effective presence on social media sites; (8) manage and deliver email lists; (9) monitor a company’s online reputation.

Certified Pricing Specialist (CPS)

The Certified Pricing Specialist (CPS) certification is ideal for those who wish to establish, maintain and analyse price reference documentation, and to make recommendations that will facilitate optimal pricing decisions to be made by Pricing, Marketing and Sales team.

Certified Environmental and Sustainability Analyst (CESA)

The Certified Environmental and Sustainability Analyst (CESA) certification is ideal for those who wish to combine analytical skills with a passion for making a difference in the world. They will have problem-solving skills that are essential for to find solutions to environmental issues, such as the impact of climate change, plastic pollution, and energy usage on the environment and society.


Certified Environmental and Sustainability Analysts will help organisations meet their environmental and sustainability goals. They will structure ambiguous problems and take action to develop and implement tailored sustainability requirements. This may include creating and implementing environmental and sustainability programs that suit specific organisational needs and making recommendations for follow-up action.
